Disclaimer & Responsible Gaming
Last updated August 17, 2026.
Every number on this site describes something that already happened. None of it is a pick, a prediction, or advice to place a bet.
1. Not betting advice
SGPLab is a research tool. It reports historical results, market prices and the statistical relationships between them. It does not tell you what to bet, and it does not claim any bet is profitable.
We are not a sportsbook, a tout service, a handicapper, or a financial adviser. We do not accept wagers and we do not sell picks. Any bet you place is your own decision, made at your own risk, with your own money.
2. Historical results are not predictions
A hit rate, a record, a return or a correlation on this site is a description of a past sample. It is not a forecast. Past performance does not indicate future results.
Three things are worth internalizing before you read any leaderboard here:
- Small samples lie. A 70% hit rate over twelve games is very often noise. We show sample sizes and uncertainty where we can, and we would rather tell you a result is indistinguishable from chance than let it top a leaderboard.
- A profitable-looking board is usually variance, not edge. Ranking anything by realized profit puts the luckiest results at the top by construction. That is a property of the sort, not a discovery.
- Betting markets are efficient and priced with a margin. Closing lines are hard to beat. Most people who bet lose money over time, and nothing here changes that arithmetic.
3. Data accuracy
Odds, lines, scores and statistics are collected from third-party sources automatically. They can be delayed, incomplete, mismatched to the wrong player or game, or simply wrong, and our own processing can contain errors. Always confirm a line and a price with your sportsbook before acting on it. We make no warranty as to accuracy or completeness — see the Terms of Service.
4. Age and legality
You must be at least 18 to use this site, and at least 21 where that is the minimum legal age to place a sports wager. Sports betting is regulated differently everywhere and is prohibited in many places. You are responsible for knowing the law where you are. The presence of information here about a market does not mean it is legal for you to bet on it.
5. Bet responsibly
Gambling should be entertainment, not income and not a way to recover losses. Only stake money you can comfortably afford to lose. Set a budget and a time limit before you start, and keep them. Do not chase losses, do not bet while under the influence, and do not borrow money to bet.
Warning signs are worth knowing: betting more than you intended, hiding it from people close to you, borrowing to fund it, feeling anxious or irritable when you cannot bet, or continuing after it has caused problems at work, at home or financially.
